Privacy Policy
Effective September 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of SchizoQuant (“SchizoQuant,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use the SchizoQuant website, account, market-intelligence platform and related services. For privacy questions or requests, use the Contact link in the site footer.
1. Data controller
SchizoQuant is the controller of personal data processed for account administration, product operation, support and direct customer relationships. Service providers such as AWS and Stripe process certain data for us or as independent controllers for their own legally defined purposes.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: email address, display name, Amazon Cognito identifier, account status and authentication/security records.
- Subscription data: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan status, trial and renewal dates, payment status, invoices and limited transaction metadata. We do not store full payment-card numbers.
- Profile and product data: optional TradingView username, watchlists, alert rules, settings and other information you choose to save.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser information, timestamps, requested pages, diagnostic logs, security events and cookie or session-token data.
- Communications: messages, support requests and feedback you send to us.
3. How we obtain data
We receive data directly from you, automatically from your browser and use of the Service, and from providers involved in authentication, hosting and billing. We may receive subscription status from Stripe and identity/session information from Amazon Cognito. We do not ask you to provide exchange private keys or wallet seed phrases.
4. Purposes and legal bases
- Contract: creating and securing your account, providing subscribed features, processing billing, managing TradingView access and responding to service requests.
- Legitimate interests: preventing fraud and abuse, monitoring reliability, diagnosing faults, improving features and defending legal claims, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation: tax, accounting, consumer-protection, sanctions and lawful authority requirements.
- Consent: where the law requires consent, such as optional non-essential cookies or certain marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
5. Cookies and local technologies
We use cookies or comparable browser storage needed for authentication, session continuity, security and preferences. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, we will provide any notice and choice required by law. Blocking essential cookies may prevent account login or subscribed features from working.
6. How we share data
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose only what is reasonably necessary to:
- Amazon Web Services: hosting through Amplify, authentication through Cognito, API/Lambda processing, secrets management, logging and database infrastructure;
- Stripe: checkout, subscriptions, invoices, fraud prevention and the customer billing portal;
- TradingView: facilitate invite-only strategy access using the username you provide, subject to TradingView’s own privacy terms;
- Market-data and technical providers: deliver market information and operate, secure or troubleshoot the Service;
- Professional advisers and authorities: comply with law, protect rights, investigate abuse or establish legal claims; and
- Corporate transactions: support a merger, financing, reorganization or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
7. International transfers
Providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on an adequacy decision, approved standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism, together with supplementary safeguards where appropriate.
8. Retention
We retain account and profile data while your account is active. After closure, we delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed, subject to backups and legitimate retention for billing, tax, fraud prevention, security, disputes and legal obligations. Payment and accounting records may be kept for the period required by applicable law; security logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for their purpose.
9. Security
We use measures designed to protect personal data, including access controls, managed authentication, server-side secrets, encrypted network connections and restricted database architecture. No system is completely secure. Keep your credentials private and contact us promptly if you suspect compromise.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing; receive portable data; withdraw consent; and complain to a supervisory authority. You may also have rights concerning automated decisions, although SchizoQuant does not use personal data to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. We may verify identity and may retain data where law permits or requires. Use the Contact link in the site footer to exercise a right.
11. Account choices
You can update or remove your TradingView username in Settings, manage browser-notification permissions in your browser, and manage eligible subscription actions through Stripe’s customer portal. You may request account deletion through the Contact page; cancelling a subscription alone does not necessarily delete the account.
12. Children
The Service is intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
13. Third-party links
The Service may link to or display content from third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.
14. Changes
We may update this policy as the Service, providers or law changes. We will post the updated policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice where required.
15. Contact and complaints
Use the Contact link in the site footer for privacy questions or requests. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to the data-protection authority in your country. We encourage you to contact us first so we can address the issue.
